"We have ensured that the new Pavilion PCs include features such as Internet and music-making capabilities that are applicable to the evolving needs of the customer," says Sam Szteinbaum, business manager of HP's North America Consumer Computing Organization.
"That volatility provides opportunities for risk-taking and brings in customer business" as investors and financial managers try to hedge against adverse moves or buy currencies to help them enter or exit fast-moving investments around the world.
"With a wireless connection, we're putting battery charge and vehicle range information, along with an interactive, data-driven trip planning app, directly at the fingertips of our customers," said Ed Pleet, product and business manager for Ford Connected Services.
And the business manager wants to increase customer support so that his department will get more work.
Toni recently retired from Lucent Technologies, where she worked for thirty years as a manager in customer service, business management and contract management.
"We do get customers that suffer sticker shock, but rarely," says Michelle Cook, business manager at Sisley's counter at Bergdorf Goodman.
Willie Limpinski, Koschmider's business manager, decided that the club would attract more customers if it presented continuous live music.
"We came out of the experience saying, 'This is definitely a way customers like to interact with Land's End,'" says Ron Frey, the company's Internet business manager.
She was the business manager.
The business manager subsequently resigned, citing stress.
