A workshop was therefore organized by a consortium of U.S. Environmental Protection Agency EPA PMPM centers to assess the extent to which variations in current source apportionment methods and their application may affect the ability of epidemiologic studies to discern PM health effects on a source-specific basis.
The current data suggest that apportionment of uncertainty related to preferences (i.e., the ratio of uncertainty toward discrete experimental conditions such as BF and AM faces), was quantitatively related to the relative apportionment of preference intensity across categories of experimental stimuli.
For the current analyses, PM2.5 source apportionment was conducted using PMF with temperature-resolved carbon fractions (Kim et al. 2004); an extended CMB approach using the Lipschitz global optimizer (LGO) program, CMB-LGO (Marmur et al. 2005); and single-species source-indicative tracers.
To identify specific sources of current occupational particulate exposures, we conducted source apportionment studies using particle-phase organic molecular markers in work area samples from seven freight terminals sampled in 2002 and 2003 (Sheesley et al. 2008b) as well as in personal and work area samples in terminal workers and drivers at one terminal (Sheesley et al. 2008a).
Source apportionment was not performed in this current analysis; however, a study of source apportionment methods found that correctly selected single-species tracers can be almost as informative in identifying source contributions as more rigorous methods (Sarnat et al. 2008).
Delegate apportionment varies by state, but under the current rules some states allow supposedly "bound" delegates to switch allegiance to another candidate on the convention floor.

The benchmark of the COD current has been further measured and calculated from the J-V curves, which reveals a complicated apportionment, from 5.9%to52.8%8% of the COD current, of the overall photocurrent in the PFC.
Source apportionment analyses are also planned, which will help elucidate the most germane sources and whether or not the current findings relate specifically to rural coarse PM, or more broadly to coarse PM derived from multiple different (e.g., urban) source types.
