NEW CURATOR AT P.S. 1 In July a new curator will arrive at the P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center in Long Island City, Queens, but he is an old name in New York's public art circles: Peter Eleey, a curator and producer for Creative Time in Manhattan from 2002 to 2007.

"For my next project, I'm going to curate the weather," muttered Tarra Cunningham, an associate curator at Creative Time, a nonprofit group that is sponsoring the project.
He received the President's Citation for creative and curatorial work representing Chicago in 2018 as one of the curators of the US Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale (American Institute of Architects (AIA).
"I think it's something he's comfortable with, it's part of it for him," says the curator Peter Eleey, now at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, who worked on the disappointing Central Park project in September 2003, for Creative Time.
Mr. Thompson, the curator at Creative Time, believes WHW's global influence will continue to grow.
