CD25+ and CD25- T cells recovered after a 10-day culture (50×103/well) were cultured together (at a 1 1 ratio) or separately in triplicates for 3 days in 96-well, round-bottom plates (Costar) in the presence of soluble anti-CD3 mAb (1 µg/ml) and in the presence of 100×103 autologous irradiated feeder cells.
Cardiomyocytes that were cultured with c-kitpos GATA-4 low cCSC3C had increased expression of transcripts specific to cell death (i.e. Bax, Caspase-3, Fas) [30], [32] [37] after 7 days in co-culture, compared to cardiomyocytes cultured together with c-kitpos GATA-4 high cCSCs (Fig. 2G).
