In this study, if practical detailed costs are provided, even a variable Csb can be applied, i.e. different value of variable Csb can be considered for each individual choice (according to its corresponding seabed condition) of the discrete decision set (B i ).
Presumed functional domains within the teleost control region, such as conserved sequence blocks (CSB) in the central conserved region, CSB-II, and CSB-III (as identified in Lee et al. [ 46]), are all highly conserved across Fundulus species.
A similar trend for CSB was also observed in CSB-suppressed cells albeit much reduced due to suppression of CSB by shRNA.
Similarly, both CSB-null and helicase motif V/VI mutant cells showed a lower activity for 8-oxoG incision in nuclear DNA than cells carrying a functional CSB [ 21, 22].
CSB plays dual roles in RNA pol I transcription: together with TFIIH it affects the elongation rate in an ATP-independent manner, and it remodels chromatin in an ATP-dependent manner [23].
CSB chair Dr. Rafael Moure-Erasaidaid last fall, "The CSB is seriously concerned by the number of deadly refinery accidents in recent years".
This notion is somewhat strengthened by the demonstrated involvement of CSB in basal transcription mediated by RNA polymerases I and II.
