There is little room left to store any more crude, says Jeff Currie of Goldman Sachs.
"We wanted it to look a little crude," said the set designer, Susan Zeeman Rogers.
"Some of the things that are said are pretty crude," said Jeff Maggert, 48, a father of five.
"The Saudis are securing a home for their heavy crude," said Fadel Gheit, a senior oil analyst at Oppenheimer & Company.
"The United States consumes about one million barrels a day of Iraqi crude," said Yasser Elguindi, a managing director at Medley Global Advisers, a New York consulting firm.
"I don't think there was any way they could justify cutting again at $60-plus 60-plus said Mike Wittner, head of oil researcrude saidété Générale in London.
"OPEC and other producers are obviously trying to cash in on $30 crude," said John Kilduff, senior vice president for energy-risk management at Fimat USA Inc. in New York.
"A lot of demand response historically has been very crude," said Michael Hogan, a senior adviser to the Regulatory Assistance Project, which does advisory work on power-grid issues worldwide.
"It may appear tempting to dismiss Iranian efforts" as relatively crude, said Dr. John B. Sheldon, an analyst at the Center for Defense and International Security Studies in Britain who recently wrote a report on Tehran's space program.
"The measurement we use today is very crude," says Daryl Simm, the former head of worldwide media and programming for Procter & Gamble and the current head of media at Omnicom, yet another large advertising and marketing conglomerate.
