A new approach to fabricate large cross-section edge-coupled waveguides on free-standing thin diamond substrates is reported.
The results show that smoothening the edges of square cross-section plays a significant role in delaying the rupture of the FRP composite at these edges, and the efficiency of FRP confinement is directly related to the radius of the cross-section edges.
On the other hand, another shape derived from the trapezoid, which was a trapezoidal cross section with rounded edges, displayed superior vortex suppression than triangular cross section near pipe entrance but limited to areas without interference from counter flows such as the flow near the back wall.
Special boundary integral formulation is presented that computes radar cross section directly from these edge element coefficients.
Here the roof consists of a spherical dome and a stiffening ring of rectangular cross section attached to the edge of the dome.
From the mathematical design of a cutting edge curve, the rake face can be defined by the rake angle and the width of the rake face at each cross section along the cutting edge.
The outer edge loop, which represents the largest cross-section boundary along the given parting directions, is extracted and patched up.

The common rule of Egyptian masons and carpenters was made of wood, had a narrow cross section, and had one beveled edge, with the two left-hand palms carrying the smaller divisions of digits.
Due to the sudden changes in the cross section of the beam, the edges of the opening can be subjected to stress concentration, and it is possible to induce transverse cracks in the beam (Fig. 1).
