The most important public health issues identified by individual organizations is naturally linked to their specific field of interest, but some cross cutting topics became apparent such as anti-microbial resistance.
However, the CAM methodology could not be applied to the cross-cutting topic areas -- in order to identify priorities within each of the these three topic areas selected groups of stakeholders (mostly experts) prioritized the potential research topics using agreed criteria for rank-ordering.
Extending the project team in DaNa2.0 with European experts allows for broadening of the existing knowledge portfolio by adding further cross-cutting topics and increasing our expertise, e.g. in the field of environmental exposure and fate.
