"Masterly", "thrilling", "funny" "sad", "real", "believable" and "gripping" were just some of the critical adjectives used about this outstanding drama.
For all his grounding in drama, and all those dread critical adjectives ("vivid", "vibrant", "raucous" – often delivered with just a hint of condescension), Kureishi is a brilliant writer, with a firm commitment to the literary novel.

To achieve this, we analysed contextually with which noun the adjective "critical" was associated in each case.
In case of non-significant effects within this interval, the more proper baseline, time-locked to the onset of the critical word (the adjective), would become valid.
Which means that to draw crowds it needs to be garlanded, through word of mouth as well as critical reviews, with adjectives like searing, unflinching, shattering and revelatory, all followed by exclamation points.
