Mice were treated once on day 4 after infection with LCMV with 100 µg/mouse polyI C (Amersham Pharmacia) i.p. or 50 ng/mouse recombinant mouse IFNγ (BD Pharmingen, San Diego, CA, USA) i.p. or with 200 µg/mouse CpG i.v. Anti-CD127 (125 µg/mouse) treatments (clone SB/14 BD Pharmingen or clone A7R34 Biolegend) were conducted i.p. in the contraction phase on days 8-10-12-14 after LCMV infection.
The predictive value of the methylation profile of the BDNF gene (e.g. CpG I and IV) and RNA marker profiles on treatment outcome will be investigated.
Levels of oxytocin, BDNF, methylation profile of the BDNF gene (e.g. CpG I and IV) and RNA marker profiles will be analyzed after finishing data collection.
Amplifications were carried out with FastStart Taq DNA Polymerase (Roche, Basel, Switzerland) with the following primers: CpG I: 5'-GTAGTAGTAGAAGAGAAGTAGATGA-3' (sense) and 5'- antisenseATCpGACCAAAAACTC-3' (antIIense); CpG II: 5'-GGGTGAGGGTTTIGTTGGGA-3' (sense) and 5'-CCCTCCCCTCIACTAACTTC-3' (antisense).
In this study we will investigate the role of the brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) [ 30– 32], methylation profile of the BDNF gene (e.g. CpG I and IV) [ 33, 34] and oxytocin [ 35, 36] and RNA marker profiles [ 37] during psychotherapy for depression.
Sodium bisulfite conversion of genomic DNA was performed as previously described [ 21], and the resulting DNA was subjected to combined bisulfite restriction analysis (COBRA) to determine the methylation status of two CpG islands located respectively upstream the transcription start site (CpG I) and in the first intron (CpG II) of the DACH1 gene.

Finally, we assign a methylation label to the CpG islands which have methylation data for more than 50% of its CpGs: i) methylated: more than 50% of the CpGs are methylated and no unmethylated CpG exist, ii) unmethylated: more than 50% of the CpGs are unmethylated and no methylated CpG exist, iii) differentially methylated: more than 50% of all CpGs need to be differentially methylated.
In this article, I will review research carried out on locomotor central pattern generators (CPGs), i.e. neural circuits capable of producing coordinated patterns of high-dimensional rhythmic output signals while receiving only simple, low-dimensional, input signals.
No evident differences were detectable according to sample ancestry/geography, except for few CpGs (i.e. CpG 20 of IGF2_island amplicon).
As expected, the equilibrium distribution for variable states favors methylated CpGs, i.e. π ^ u < π ^ p < π ^ m for all chromosomes.
The initial compliance rate with the CPGs i.e. in 1994, was significantly different between the control and the experimental groups of patients (6% vs 12%, P=0.03).
