The types of evidence included were all based on criteria that have been proposed as relevant in the literature on priority setting, such as prevalence, disease burden, coverage, severity of disease (annual risk of death or disease without intervention), efficacy (relative risk-reduction of mortality), cost-effectiveness, and equity [ 16].
Coverage over severity range: This is related to the 'code score' of an EQ-5D state which is obtained by adding the value of the level of each dimension in the state.
For valuation modelling, the full coverage of all severity levels and simple linkage of all health states valued by each respondent should ensure that inconsistency is reduced and more easily identified.
