The validity of Eq.1 to describe the time-course of extension was shown in Fig. 3, A and B, which indicated that, with the corresponding best fitting values of the relaxation time τ and the spring constant k, the theoretical x/L t course is in good agreement with that by SMD simulation for all of HP(2 20) and its four corresponding analogues.
In fact, from Eq. 2, we found that, the best fitting values of the relaxation time τ, which were extracted from simulated time courses of extension (Fig. 3 A and B), were about 1.5∼3.2 ps, corresponding to the relative extension x/L of about 1% for HP(2 20) and its four analogues.
2.4 Courses-of-Values, Extensions, and Proposed Mathematical Foundations 2.4.1 Courses-of-Values and Extensions Frege's ontology consisted of two fundamentally different types of entities, namely, functions and objects (1891, 1892b, 1904).
The time course of primer extension also was similar in that with 100 nM concentration of KF (exo-), the extension did not progress to appreciable extent beyond a 21-mer product with increasing time up to 30 min. For 316 nM Dpo4, in contrast, full length 23-mer product was formed within 5 min, which increased with time, but for both S-cdA and S-cdG, the 19-mer was the strongest band.
In vivo imaging of fluorescently labeled muscle cells in sna>Venus transgenic animals highlighted the elongation of the muscle tissue during the course of tail extension (Fig. 1; Movie S1).
To evaluate the potential role of muscle cell growth in muscle elongation, muscle cell volume was measured during the course of tail extension in wild type embryos (Figure 5A,B).
Ms. Smith estimated that the additional checks would spur more than $850 million in spending — on rent, food and other necessities — in the state, over the course of the extension, which expires in March.
The volumes of muscle cells were found, on average, to remain constant over the course of tail extension (Figure 5C).
This ratio increased steadily over the course of tail extension up to a ratio of 3.5∶1 at the late tailbud stage (tail length = 350 µm; Figure 4B).
To measure the movements of individual cells positioned at different points along the anteroposterior length of the tail we used sna>H2B-RFP to track the positions of muscle cell nuclei over the course of tail extension (Figure 3A; Movie S3).
