This study addressed increasingly important issues of student success, withdrawal and perception of the learning environment across multiple course modalities.
The instrument used for this study was developed over a ten year period by the faculty senate of the University of Central Florida, recognizing the evolution of multiple course modalities including blended learning.
This particular property of the designed scale is due to the absence of specific technological terms and to its focus on the educational process itself, which allows the comparison of different course modalities, as outlined by Berridi, Martínez, and García (2015), and Motii and Sanders (2014).
