Showtime weighs in in midsummer with "Free for All," an odd-couple outing produced by Merriwether Williams ("SpongeBob Squarepants") that includes characters like a drug-addicted ferret and a homicidal grandmother.
"I think in the last couple outings, he showed that he's still a pretty good pitcher.
The off-speed stuff, that's what was getting hit hard, didn't have command of his fastball, not quite the same sink he's had the last couple outings".
"I had a couple outings where I felt like I lost my rhythm and fell behind with a breaking pitch," said Rodriguez, who had allowed nine runs, eight hits and five walks over his previous six outings.
