The phrase "couple for" is not correct and not usable in written English.
As a phrasal verb, "couple up" means to form a romantic or intimate relationship. While "couple for" may have similar usage, it is not a recognized phrase. For example: My friends have been married for five years, and they still look so happy when they couple up!.
