Children as young as seven told ChildLine counsellors how they were being tormented and abused by malicious and hurtful messages from which they felt there was no escape.
I'd suggest they take advice from their son's behavioural counsellor on how to stop the cycle of arguments, hysterics and general mayhem.
"My favourite story told by our counsellor is how Jonah is saved by the whale during a storm at sea," he says.
Startlingly, only one per cent said they told university authorities, student welfare, or counsellors, adding how they'd rather tell a friend or partner.
