Approximately 39% of the respondents did not accept PITC; with respect to these findings, the major cited barriers toward PITC acceptability among the study participants included perception of not being at risk, not ready, self-trust, fear of results, stigma and discrimination, not counseled properly, not sure of confidentiality, needing to consult their partners, and being tested before.
