The prepared superhydrophobic coating had a maximal water contact angle of 152° and a best corrosion resistance since the coating was unwetted in the corrosion solution and could prevent the corrosion media from penetrating into the zinc substrate.
The corrosion solution includes three types, namely, 10% sodium sulfate solution, 10% magnesium sulfate solution and the composite solution of 10% sodium sulfate and 3.5% sodium chloride (by mass).
