Neighbour-net analyses of DNA sequences of all cloned inserts of PaB6 repeats from the six cytotypes corroborated the analyses of variation within the monomers, and did not reveal any cytotype-specific lineages (Fig. 2C).
This result corroborates the analyses of population structure, which suggest that the degree of gene exchange is related to the geographic distance separating populations and not strong barriers to dispersal.
Our results unequivocally support the third hypothesis, i.e. that Acilius and Graphoderus are sister taxa forming a derived Holarctic clade, corroborating the analyses of Ribera et al. [ 14].
These results corroborate the preliminary analyses by [11], implying that all members of the exocyst complex are sequence related, and indicating that all exocyst subunits have a related structure.
These results corroborate the previous analyses indicating that for this gene the major variation occurred between species and not between different geographic regions.
Our sequencing data, albeit on a considerably smaller sample size of strains, therefore corroborate the phenotypic analyses of these two previous studies.
In order to corroborate the biochemical analyses presented above, we used indirect-immunofluorescence to examine the changes in subcellular localization of endogenous PTEN, following ATP depletion in breast, colon and thyroid carcinoma cells (Fig. 3, Supplementary Material, Fig. S2B and C).
As expected, the majority of sites appear to be subject to strong purifying selection (ω≪0.5), while the numbers of positively-selected sites corroborate the gene-wide analyses, with ESAGs 4 7 displaying widespread adaptation (Table S4).
