In addition, we found that plasmid similarity to host, Y PH, correlated well with host average autocorrelation values, X AAC, and GC content, X GC, Y PH = (-2.75 + 3.34 X AAC + 0.45 X GC ) 1/3 R2 = 0.4 (P < 0.001), i.e. higher GC content and chromosomal average ZOM autocorrelation (expected correlation values) values means closer correlation with plasmids.
Correlation values were then converted to P values, and the AFNI AlphaSim FWE correction was applied for multiple comparison correction.
