This interpretation is supported by our observation that the highest proportion of the corrections was completed in Steps 2 (56.2%) and 3 (37.0%), i.e. a correct version of the erroneous sequence is present in other databases or can be reconstructed from fragments (Table 3).
Once assembly correction was complete, we compared the genomic arrangement of each strain with that of the complete wMel genome using Mauve (Darling et al. 2004).
Correction was completed at 11 weeks and, once achieved, the hindfoot element was removed from the frame and the fast-fix struts were substituted for rods.

The advantages of this technique are complete kyphosis correction, immediate stability, preservation of kyphosis correction until fusion, and complete spinal canal decompression in case of neurological deficit.
With these corrections, the tables and text are complete.
But if the position is unsatisfactory, small corrections are possible without complete disruption of the pseudarthrosis.
When the initial correction program was completed, the limb alignment was assessed by long leg standing AP radiographs (Fig. 3).
