The mixture was concentrated to ~10 μl using Microcon YM-30 columns (Amicon, Millipore Corporation, Bedford, MA) before the addition of SlideHyb#3 hybridization buffer (Ambion Inc, Austin, TX) to a total volume of 112 μl.
Labeled Cy3- and Cy5-cDNA was respectively diluted with TE-buffer (pH 7.5) before Microcon YM-30 columns (Amicon, Millipore Corporation, Bedford, MA) were applied to concentrate the samples to 17 20 μl.
