The specific challenges addressed in this preliminary report include the provision of a practical user interface for spatial model manipulation, streamlining of the data preparation pipeline for high-resolution volumes and the export of reference coordinates for arrow localisation.
Actual preferred directions (relative to monkey's head trunk axis) were 12.6° ± 5.6° SD during the RED condition (solid line in Fig. 5 B ) and 0.0° ± 2.7° SD during the LED condition (solid line in Fig. 5 F ) and were clearly different from the directions expected from the earth-centered coordinate (gray arrows and lines in Fig. 5 B, F, respectively).
Depending on the complexity of the receiver, players can view distances in feet and inches, maps, arrows, coordinates or even hear a digitized voice to guide them.
