It seems likely that in most tissues, following activation of the GCN2/eIF2α/ATF4 pathway, a highly coordinated time-dependent program of molecular events should take place, leading to the fine transcriptional regulation of specific target genes.
Chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) experiments have revealed that there is a highly coordinated time-dependent program of interaction between a precise set of ATF subfamily members and coactivators leading to transcriptional activation of amino acid-regulated genes [8], [15].
Figure 3 shows the postseismic GPS coordinate time series with long-term trends and seasonal signals corrected, which fit logarithmic decay function models well and are typically dominated by time-dependent, stress-driven afterslip following moderate or massive earthquakes.
