Zones of preferential flow convergence include narrow (<2 km) and steep (<20°) foredeep-margin slope channels along thrust front-segmenting tear faults, and steep, unchannelized piggyback-basin and foredeep margins (local gradients as great as 40° across piggyback-basin margins).
The key concepts of security convergence include the IT security and physical security; both of these functions bring strength to the new relationship; the groups must learn to speak a common language and finally the progress of security convergence needs to be slow and measured.

Our results complement, extend and generalize a number of existence and convergence theorems including Theorems 1.2, 1.5 and certain results in [13, 15].
