The optical characteristics of PbSe quantum dots placed in polymer matrices are investigated for potential applications in electrically controlled absorption modulators and integrated optical circuit components.
Further active methods are developed for the design of locally controlled absorption liners in air, whose basic principles were described by Olson and May and subsequently investigated practically by Guicking and his colleagues at the beginning of the 80's.

The Study of Solifenacin Succinate and Tamsulosin Hydrochloride OCAS (oral controlled absorption system) in Males with Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (NEPTUNE) II is the first long-term study using solifenacin (Soli) and the oral controlled absorption system formulation of tamsulosin (TOCAS).
