Numerous other partners provided smaller financial contributions toward various aspects of technical assistance, advocacy, or service delivery at local level, including the World Health Organization (WHO) and UNICEF.
Of the $125 million in total contributions by I.B.M. last year, 66percentt, or $82 million, was given in the form of technical assistance compared with 34percentt, or $43 million, given in cash.
Table 2.6 shows a contribution of US$56.55 million to technical assistance via TSS but it should be noted that the Regular Programme contribution in 1998-99 is estimated at approximately US$500 million after offsetting reimbursements from projects for some of these services.
