Unfortunately the majority of interviews did not include children or children were too young to effectively contribute to interviews alongside their parents.
Fifteen boys and five girls aged 8 12 years, and their main carers contributed to forty interviews, a number likely to deliver saturation of themes and facilitate triangulation of data (child interviews, carer interviews and quantitative data) [ 15].
The Times's findings are based on tax documents filed by the Clinton Foundation and by groups that contributed to it, interviews with donors and people with direct knowledge of the foundation's activities, as well as federal government records and an analysis of campaign finance data.
