Because the local contraction units are unable to span the 4 μm spacing (Ghassemi et al., 2012; Yu et al., 2011), the podosomes form as well on the larger line spacing as on continuous bilayers.
During a ramp contraction, motor unit initial discharge rate is mildly correlated within an individual (ICC: 0.11), though accounting for this effect significantly impacts regression analysis (p = 0.01).
The compaction process is then modelled as a self-similar contraction of unit (average) cells, in contrast to commonly used phenomenological assumptions, yielding a simple but rigorous relation between the densification density and centre-to-centre approach of adjacent powder particles.
And in agreement to debye scherrer equation and SEM images, celref data show a contraction in unit cell for the materials at 96 h compared to 48 h as reaction time at 180 °C.
However, a shift in the calculated d-spacing following dealumination (±3.93 to 3.90 Å for the main reflection in Al-β and deAl-β, respectively) suggests that there is a contraction in unit cell volume following the removal of Al.
Compound 3 undergoes the greatest contraction in unit cell volume with a reduction from 3140.9 7) to 3016.2(4) Å contracting at a rate of 0.162 Å per molecule, per unit cell, per degree [ΔÅ Z−1 K−1] while 4 undergoes the second greatest contraction at 0.13 ΔÅ Z−1 K−1.
As expected, all four display a contraction in unit-cell volume with a reduction in temperature (Table 1).
This drop is less than half the pH decreases typically observed during high-intensity isometric contractions (>0.6 units) (Miller et al. 1988; Sullivan et al. 1994; Walter et al. 1999; Wilson et al. 1988) and is in good agreement with previous reports (Jeneson and Bruggeman 2004; Schmitz et al. 2010).
The mechanical properties of this region are characterized by the apparent cortical tension (defined as a free contraction energy per unit area) and the apparent bending modulus (introduced as a bending free energy per unit area) of its middle plane.
As a consequence we obtain that if the residual set of a contraction covers the whole unit circle then those invariant subspaces, where the restriction is similar to the unilateral shift with a similarity constant arbitrarily close to 1, span the whole space.
