Manoj Ajmera, the coordinator of the annual state water-tasting contest, sponsored by the New York Section of the American Water Works Association and the State Departments of Health and Environmental Conservation, acknowledged that the contest results may be "very unscientific and very subjective".
When the workout ended, the quarterbacks and the offensive coordinator, Sean Payton, had the same football-throwing contest -- a 40-yard heave into a large trash can -- that has concluded every other Friday practice this season.
After the contest I immediately reached out to Vans Canada's marketing coordinator, Bob LaSalle, and asked if I could be a part of the planning for the 2016 DGC.
"We are creating opportunities for using emerging technology to engage in a discussion of democracy," said Jonathan Margolis, deputy coordinator of the State Department's Bureau of International Information Programs, who helped organize the contest.
"Contests all over the country have been shut down over the past few years… and event coordinators are being hassled both in the media and at their events," laments Coyote Contest.
"The workshop and contest on Teen Second Life, in collaboration with Voices of Youth, was a great success," notes Voices of Youth Assistant Coordinator Kim Baker.
Rebecca Hoeffler, program and communications coordinator for Sustainable Duke, said one of the most encouraging results from Duke home football contests this season has been the work the Zero Waste Game Day volunteers haven't had to do.
Florida defensive coordinator Geoff Collins boasts the seventh best rush defense in the country, allowing less than 112 yards per contest.
