The follow-up consultations were based on stages-of-change theory [ 31] in one study [ 28], on stages-of-change theory [ 31] and motivational interviewing [ 32, 33] in three studies [ 23, 26, 30], and on the theory of planned behaviour [ 34] in one study [ 25].
