During the QIP period in our study, 25%% of females and 17%% of males were tested for chlamydia, which was greater than the other QIP program in Australia implemented in regional primary health care centres in NSW, which resulted in 10%% of females being tested, with the increase predominantly occurring during consultations that included a Pap smear [ 21].
