On 27 July, at the press-conference in the Kabar News Agency, members of the Kyrgyzstan's delegation to the Regional Consultation for the UN study on Violence Against Children in Ljubljana on July 5-7, will present its goal and the Final Conclusions with nine important steps to be taken at domestic and regional level to address violence against children.

The ESAR consultation for the UN Secretary General's Study on Violence against Children is being organised at the request of the Study expert, Professor Paulo Pinheiro.
Patients fulfilling the prescreening criteria were invited for a personal consultation with the study physician for information, informed consent, inclusion or exclusion as a study participant, and baseline assessment.
More than 165 people, including delegates from all governments in the region, staff from UN agencies and child care agencies, are taking part in the three day meeting as part of the global consultation for the UN Secretary General's Study on Violence against Children.
All pregnant women presenting for antenatal consultation during the study period were eligible to participate.
