The consultation draft is an important step towards an internationally accepted framework for integrated reporting and the IIRC encourages the engagement of businesses, investors and other stakeholders in a number of ways.
A second draft emerged, and was circulated for further comments; a third draft, amended according to these, followed in early February , 2012 and a fourth draft, with comments assimilated by LJS and TJS, was approved by the group as a consultation draft in June , 2012
