In the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia, 2012 report on the inquiry into registration processes and support for International Medical Graduates, it was recommended that the Australian Medical Council provide a "detailed level of constructive written feedback for candidates who have undertaken the Australian Medical Council's Structured Clinical Examination" [ 41].
During the in-class workshop, we introduced them to a rubric for guiding constructive writing feedback (Massachusetts Institute of Technology MITT) 1999) as well as examples of techniques for professional criticism of peer projects.
