Technically these were assumed to be uncorrelated with the construct factors, and with each other.
Inter-factor correlations were calculated to give further insights into the interpretability of the constructed factors as separate scales.
Correlations of less than 0.70 indicate that the constructed factors can be seen as separate scales [ 30].
Method factors for questions reflecting positive and negative item content, orthogonal to the construct factors and assumed independent of each other, improved model fit by removing nuisance variance.
