The decades of work in regeneration has produced very few constructivist models, and the rapidly-increasing body of functional findings is making the problem worse – it is ever more difficult for scientists to come up with models that explain the increasingly constraining dataset.
Further, we constrained the dataset using the criteria that: (1) The standard error of epicenter and depth was less than or equal to 2 km, (2) the number of P phase readings was greater than 7, and (3) the rms of arrival time residuals was less than 0.9 s.
The newly constrained STITCH dataset along with the BLAST results were used to link 538 L. major genes to 905 FDA-approved drugs.
This left 2115 unique SNPs from 425 studies in the Hindorff dataset and 2695 from 96 studies in the Johnson dataset (constrained to p<10−5).
To select the earthquakes, we delineated three regions where we expected the velocity structure to be well constrained by our dataset (Fig. 1b).
We also document detailed temporal and spatial deformation signals for eight representative landslides, although the InSAR derived deformation signal is only well constrained by our dataset during the years 2013 and 2015.
Comparison of the best tree for all nucleotide data with the optimal ML tree for this dataset constrained for clade III monophyly (tree topology provided in Methods), indicated that monophyly of clade III was a significantly worse interpretation of these data (Shimodaira-Hasegawa test, P < 0.05).
