The one BrdU-treated specimen did not exhibit conspicuous labeling in lung tissue (Fig. 2D,E).
Conspicuous labeling was observed in pyramidal neuron somata and in VGLUT1+ glutamatergic terminals, but not in VGLUT2+ fibers (mainly thalamocortical afferents).
Likewise, C-banding/PI/DAPI staining strongly highlighted in red the same two regions of chromosome 6 (Fig. 1E), and FISH for rDNA (pTa71 probe—18S-5.8S-26S from wheat) resulted in conspicuous labelling of the same regions (Fig. 1F), indicating the presence of a single 18S-5.8S-26S locus.
Virtually all neurons exhibited a colocalised distribution of Tau-1 and MAP2 (Fig. S2) and only 11% of them displayed a slightly higher intensity of labelling for Tau-1 in one of their neurites, which coexisted with conspicuous MAP2 labelling.
Conspicuous ubiquitin labeling was associated with abnormal coated pits and subplasmalemmal tubular networks wherever these occurred on dendrites or neuronal cell bodies.
Stunted AR lungs resembled AD lungs of the same stages in shape, size, position, lack of conspicuous BrdU labeling, and the development of lumens, blood vessels, cartilages, smooth muscle and epithelial folds (Fig. 2).
The clinical extra-oral picture in these patients is conspicuous and is labelled as 'adenoidal faces'.
Like BSE cases, peri-neuronal labelling was conspicuous in the DMNV; unlike BSE cases, particulate and coalescing PrPd labelling in the neuropil was prominent, with plaque like accumulations seen throughout most brain areas, often associated with white matter bundles and areas of conspicuous vacuolation (Fig. 3).
In mature IHCs, Pcdh15-CD2 antibody labelling was conspicuous at the tips of the three rows of stereocilia, in particular at the lower tip-link insertion points.
