Those passing the telephone screening (n = 38) underwent a clinical screening examination consisting of height, weight, BMI, and blood pressure measurements and laboratory testing including serum lipids, fasting serum glucose, fasting serum insulin, and plasma A1C.
The test consists of height and weight measurements, followed by 1-min of push-ups, 1-min of sit-ups, and a 1.5 mile timed run.
