Consistent with the initial registry report (15), with an average of 5.2 years of patient follow-up in this registry study, the occurrence of death has been similar between patients treated with infliximab and those who have received other-treatments-only (0.58 vs. 0.59 per 100 patient-years, respectively; RR=0.96, 95% CI=0.72, 1.28, P=0.81).
LSSc patients with mildly elevated pulmonary capillary wedge pressure (PCWP) (>15 to ≤18) were included in our primary analyses consistent with the REVEAL registry with similar rationale [15].
The overall results did not change materially when adjusted for the patient's socioeconomic status, or restricted to the subset of patients for whom the diagnosis and date of diagnosis were consistent with the cancer registry.
