Moreover, if significant pressure dependence does exist then it is implicit in existing, deep borehole-consistent annealing models.
This is consistent with the annealing temperature being too low for the Zn(OH 2 to dehydrate to ZnO.
Very faint, monomer-related bands, close to the limit of detection, were seen occasionally, without any consistent pattern regarding annealing temperature or taxon, and were regarded as contamination (Fig. 2B, and not shown).
