Jeremy Bailenson, an associate professor and the founding director of the Stanford lab I visited, is fascinated by VR's potential to improve society by enhancing empathy and encouraging more considerate behaviours.
Presumably, agreeable people engage easily in using considerate behaviours, and as a consequence, produce pleasant affective responses in others (Moskowitz & Côté, 1995).
For women, it is stated that gender socialisation leads to attitudes of tenderness, sharing, being considerate and kind, and to repelling aggressive behaviour.
