Expression data, published by Vinuelas et al. [ 93], revealed that dksA, cspC, cspE and csrA are all highly expressed and highly conserved in BAp, ychA is highly conserved with a low expression level, and yrbA is evolving quickly and is highly expressed.
We conclude, that the positive roles of ClpX on Rot and Protein A synthesis are conserved in a low-passage clinical strain, suggesting that the underlying mechanism is conserved among S. aureus strains.
