A romp through examples from English shows that certain suffixes have become "hard" or "soft" in consequence of the status of their most prominent carrier disciplines.
As a consequence the occupational status of the first job decreases with education-leaving cohort as the competition on the labour market increases with educational expansion and the change of the labour market structure (Jacob et al. 2013; Müller et al. 1998).
The remaining sequences were not matched to the available human exon information and as a consequence the genic status of these were classified as unknown (Table 2).
In such cases, he thinks, the emphasis is too often on the apocalyptic consequences of the status quo, rather than giving positive reasons to change.
This has wide ranging consequences for the status of forms in several respects.
"That can only have positive consequences for the status of the Welsh language in society, and I look forward to seeing Wales enjoy the benefits," she said.

Given the traditional role of women in this setting, this is bound to have multiple potential consequences on the status of women in the society.
"When it comes to Cuba, there's no consequence for supporting the status quo," says Representative Jim McGovern, an anti-embargo campaigner, "so the challenge is to find a way to build political pressure".
