A U-shaped relationship between folate intake level and breast cancer risk was identified in the prospective studies, whereas a consecutive trend of reduced breast cancer was found for women with high folate level for the case control studies.
As can be seen in Figure 1 (see also Table 1), the labor force participation rate of women aged 25 44 has shown a consecutive upward trend over the past three decades in Taiwan; it rose to 76.51% (2010) from 41.62% (1980), an increase of nearly 35%.
Figure 4b reveals that the monitoring indicators in Tokyo began to send an activation signal at week 11, then alerts turned from mild to moderate; finally the monitoring indicators also registered a 6th consecutive strong trend at week 27, and the peak was reached at week 30 in 2013.
Among children with two consecutive samples, seasonal trends were even stronger for P. falciparum but less evident for P. vivax (Figure 2).
When we added each trend indicator separately to the existing model, three trend indicators were independently and strongly significant: the absolute change in the risk score from the previous day; the absolute change in the risk score from the start of the trend; and the number of consecutive days with a trend in the risk score (Table 2).
Three trend indicators were independently associated with time to hospital mortality: the absolute change in the risk score from the previous day; the absolute change in the risk score from the start of the trend; and the number of consecutive days with a trend in the risk score.
We found that three trend indicators (the absolute change in the risk score from the previous day; the absolute change in the risk score from the start of the trend; and the number of consecutive days with a trend in the risk score) were significantly and independently associated with the risk of hospital mortality.
So, the criteria for stopping further filtering by the PWS-EPR filter is to find the point where the similarity between consecutive PWS estimates changes trends from descending to ascending.
Analyzing the dynamics of parameters characterizing body posture throughout consecutive decades, several important trends were observed.
To expand on this point, a well-designed control algorithm uses several consecutive CGM values, computes trends (typically via model prediction), and uses additional data sources, such as information from the insulin pump.
