Positive findings relating to residents' competence and confidence are consistent with documented psychological benefits of physical activity on health [ 5, 30] and quality of life [ 31- 33].
It is demonstrated that the weighted sum of all municipality model estimates of fractions above 200 Bq m−3 (3.9% with 95%-confidence interval=[3.4,4.5]) is consistent with the weighted sum of the observations for Denmark taken as a whole (4.6% with 95%-confidence interval=[3.8,5.6]).
This relationship between Lack of Confidence and glycemic control is consistent with the findings of others that confidence is a key determinant of self-care behaviors among African American women with Type 2 diabetes [ 13] and persons with Type 2 diabetes, in general [ 14].
However, the fact that the pattern of results differs according to whether participants report their experience of remembering or their confidence in their responses is consistent with the view that remember and know responses do not merely reflect levels of confidence.

We have no compelling explanation as to why this should be the case, and can only point out that, although the difference between the two programmes in the incidence of advanced disease is significant at the 5% level, the 95% confidence interval is wide, and is consistent with a relative risk reduction of as little as 7%.
A modelling study based on these clinical data predicts an oxygen enhancement ratio for prostate cancer of 1.4 (95% confidence interval of 1.2 1.8) that is consistent with the in vitro OER measurements of human tumour cell lines under chronic hypoxia conditions (Wang et al, 2006).
