In a reservoir with fractured connectivity there are a multitude of fractures and none of them will be simple single-dimensioned conductive routes.
On the other hand, the long Ag NWs (ca. 71.0 μm) form long conductive routes in the percolation networks, resulting in the decrease of number of junctions.
The reduced water-flux associated with A639PS SLC4A11 does, however, suggest that SLC4A11 directly forms a water-conductive route, rather than increasing water-flux through an endogenous pathway.
And it decreases almost fivefold compared with that of using 6 mg/mL, which could be attributed to the formation of more efficient conductive percolation routes in the Ag NWs network, whereas some macroscopic agglomerates of Ag NWs appears as the concentration increases to 8 mg/mL.
Common routes to conductive textile surfaces are: metallization by plating (by for example Jiang et al. 2006) or sputtering (Depla et al. 2011); in situ polymerization of intrinsically conductive polymers (ICP) (Gregory et al. 1989; Knittel and Schollmeyer 2009; Oh et al. 1999); or CPC coating (Cristian et al. 2011; Zhang et al. 2012).
Based on the synthesis route, its conductivity can be altered from semi-conductors to highly conductive materials – that makes it a promising candidate for engineering applications.
This 3D ordered hollow structure not only offers good electronic transportation routes and ionic conductive channels, but also effectively relieves the stress and mitigates the volume variation during lithiation/delithiation process as reflected by the high cycle stability and excellent rate capability as anode materials for lithium ion batteries.
Our data show that SLC4A11 protein forms a previously unrecognized water-conductive pathway, the first such route identified in a protein that is not part of the MIP family.
Our method provides a new route for preparing electrical conductive graphene/polymer composites with low percolation threshold.
Melt processing of thermoplastic-based nanocomposites is the favoured route to produce electrically conductive or electrostatic dissipative polymer composites containing carbon nanotubes (CNT).
The addition of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) or carbon nanofibers (CNFs) to polymeric melts offers a convenient route to obtain highly conductive plastics.
