A survey of the available results obtained during the mission preparation and post-flight analyses of the Galileo mission has been undertaken and a computational matrix has been derived.
To improve the predictive power of the individual quantitative datasets, we further developed our computational matrix approximation strategy [ 34], and showed that it could transform the original fitness matrices so that these allow for better discrimination of not only negative but also the positive end of interaction spectrum from the background variability [ 31].
Though the size limitation for computational matrix analysis may never be completely removed, we showed that there are ways to circumvent it: even without access to specialized hardware, big, dense transition matrices may be manageable either by lumping states, or by approximating rare transitions to zero with our sparse approximation algorithm.
In order to test the performance of our computational matrix analysis, we used the target finder function of the TAL Effector-Nucleotide Targeter 2.0 (TALE-NT) tools [ 48] to search for PthA"s" and PthC"s" EBEs in the top twenty best scoring promoters.
We have shown here that even if the correlation between the currently available quantitative genetic interaction maps in yeast is relatively low, their comparability can be improved by means of our computational matrix approximation procedure, which will enable integrative analysis and detection of a wider spectrum of genetic interactions using data from the complementary screening approaches.

Since only a small number of eigenvalues of the open-loop quadratic pencil are computable using the state-of-the-art matrix computational techniques and/or measurable in a vibration laboratory, it is imperative that the problem is solved using these small number of eigenvalues and the corresponding eigenvectors.
