In particular, the past four decades have seen the rise in indexing investment strategies: instead of investors placing bets on which stocks will rise or fall, many investors instead choose to "buy the market", perhaps by investing in funds that mirror the composition of, say, the S&P 500.
But judging by the racial composition of, say, the Senate or AM talk radio or the cast members playing the Obamas on SNL, I don't think white people have anything to worry about.

Paul Lansky, a composer who studied with Mr. Babbitt and was a colleague at Princeton University, where Mr. Babbitt remained an emeritus professor of composition, said that Mr. Babbitt died at a hospital in Princeton.
"So humans now are in charge of atmospheric composition," Hansen said.
"X-rays showed numerous losses, particularly in the upper part of the composition," he said.
"I liken him to a leader like Duke Ellington, who was supposed to be a 'jazz composer' but had in his orchestra Cootie Williams and Johnny Hodges and so forth — these people who were part and parcel of his composition," Henderson said.
