That no objective gold standard exists for the diagnosis of SpA, which is instead based on a composite clinical presentation, constrains the possibilities for the evaluation of the diagnostic accuracy of MRI.
This composite index permits presentation of results of symptom modifying clinical trials in OA based on individual patient responses (responder yes/no).

So far, most evaluations of response to treatment have been performed by use of the patient's evaluations, clinical examinations and laboratory assessments, and with presentation of composite scores that reflect inflammatory activity [ 12, 26- 28], in accordance with the published EULAR/ACR recommendations [ 29].
In particular, I am studying whether or not people have different self-presentation composites that they reserve for specific situations and people.
